Lake Nyasa (also known as Lake Malawi) is an African Great Lake located between Malawi, Tanzania, and Mozambique. It is the third-largest lake in Africa and the ninth-largest in the world. The lake is approximately 560 km long and 75 km wide, with a maximum depth of 706 meters.
