During this period, there is little or no rain which leads to limited waste sources and the thinning of vegetation and this makes it easy for you to spot the animals. Most of the animals in Ngorongoro can easily be viewed from the crater side.
The wet season also known as the green season is experienced between November and May. This period has fewer tourists and best for birders.
