Mikumi Wildlife Camp is also sometimes referred to as Kikoboga Lodge, this large establishment is situated adjacent to the main park headquarters in the centre of the reserve, just three hundred metres off the busy TanZam highway. The whole lodge looks out over a waterhole which tends to get rather busy during the dry season, with elephant, buffalo and impala being regular visitors. The camp has commanding views across the Mkata Flood Plains and is within easy reach of some of the more interesting areas of the park including the hippo pools. Rooms are well equipped and clean with comfortable beds. It's a very pleasant place. Camp has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kikoboga. The property has room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests.
