Lemala Tarangire

Fashionable Lemala Tarangire is a standard seasonal camp that offers a genuine intimate safari experience in Tanzania. Situated close to the River Tarangire and the huge Silale Swamp, this safari lodge provides a ringside seat for the numerous movements of the wild animals throughout the dry season.

The water sources within this part of Tarangire National Park which attracts numerous Elephants plus Buffaloes along with the other big cats and more than 500 types of birds especially from June to October, enabling guests to optimize on the game viewing chances from daybreak to sunset while on safari in Tanzania.

Wild animals move past Lemala Tarangire throughout the day especially in the dry season as they go to the river beds or in the swamps. In the night, Elephant usually feed on the umbrella Acacia trees found close to the camp. The game drives in Lemala start early in the morning every day and guests will be taken to the prime areas that have numerous animals and offer better game viewing opportunities.

Our 4WD Land cruisers are opened on all sides and specifically designed for lengthy game drives. Every vehicle offers charging units, a sizable refrigerator plus seven comfortable seats. During game drives that take the entire day we prepare tasty picnic breakfasts plus lunches prepared by the experienced chef.

At the start of rains in the month of November, the wild animals scatter into the nearby plains such as Manyara. Because of this, Lemala Tarangire Camp moves into Lake Manyara National park from December up to March.

Child Policy

Lemala Tarangire Camp offers a child policy of a minimum of 6 years, and the child’s rate applies to those from 6 years to 16 years of age

Lemala Tarangire offers seven large luxury tents, and each can accommodate two adults as well as two children. The beds are comfortable and large enough with warm covers. There is 24/7  solar lighting in all the tents. In addition you can reservations for this lodge for exclusive use.

The main dining tent is a very beautiful welcoming area that is elegantly adorned with lamps and furnished with comfortable and intimate space, beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas and lamps, book and corner cabinets, chests and rugs. In the evening at the end of their game drives, guests at the lodge sit around the bon fire for sundowners and also have candle lit dinners and pleasure in the wonderful service of the staff at this camp.
