Lake Burunge Tented Camp
Lake Burunge Tented Camp is just a 10 minutes drive from Tarangire National Park and comprises of twenty luxury tents situated in a bush land grove out of the sun, offering breathtaking vistas of Lake Burunge.
The main building provides a central lounge as well as a bar plus a dining area constructed on an elevated wooden deck. The elevated platform is the perfect venue for visitors to loosen up as they enjoy a sundowner while the sun disappears over the lake’s horizon, or to just sit and pleasure in the warmth form the bonfire.
This Tented Camp is found on the shores of the spectacular Lake Burunge and it is found inside the migratory corridor of Tarangire as well as Manyara. This camp is found in 25,000 hectares concession area devoted to the preservation of the local Masai Community in this area.
Accommodation
There are 20 spacious double tents, and All the tents have huge beds, an inside bathroom having an in built shower, mosquito nets, and a private verandah with walkway. The tents overlook the Tarangire National Park and Burunge Lake.

On the top of a Kopje, with outstanding views from the park, enjoy sundowner cocktails and snacks.Visit a Mbuwge Village.
Guests can visit a boma (village) and interact with the local Mbuwge people and learn about their culture.

As well as the usual gamedrives into Tarangire National Park, nature walks can also be taken from the camp with a naturalist guide.
