The best of northern parks in 10 days’ time! You'll be visiting Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, and Lake Manyara. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and great view of the animals as you do game drives around the parks.
Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania
SafariBando staff member will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport upon arrival and transfer you to your lodge.
Overnight: Arusha (Lodge)
Day 1: Walking Safari & Game drive in Arusha National Park
In the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and take you to the Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day will include a visit to the Ngurdo Crater. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on the walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, we will take you back to Arusha.
Dinner & overnight: In Tarangire (Designated Lodge/Tented or Camping Accommodation)
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha at 0700hrs and transferred to the Tarangire National Park to start off your game viewing experience in this magnificent park. Tarangire is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country. In the mid of the day, you shall have packed lunch at one of the picnic sites.

Day 3: Full day Game Drive: Tarangire National Park
Another day of your tour at Tarangire will start in the morning with breakfast. Your professional safari guide will take you to the best wildlife-spotting areas of the park including the Tarangire River which is a permanent river that works as a bloodline for the park ensuring animals flock the river banks in search of water throughout the year. You expect to see elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes, and a lot of birds. Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic sites. Later in the afternoon after lunch, you will drive out of the park and your guide will take you to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight at Campsite.

Day 4: Full day Game Drive: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, your lunch will be packed a guide will take you to Lake Manyara. Encompassing this area is Lake Manyara Park which is often overlooked, but game-rich and best known for its tree-climbing lions. We’ll have time for full day game drive then evening drive back to the lodge for overnight.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park
The drive to Serengeti will start after breakfast, you will stop by the Olduvai Gorge to learn about pre historic human discovered in Ngorongoro, game drive en route. You will have lunch while en routing in the mid of the day.

Day 6 & 7: Full Game Drive: full days of discovery at Serengeti
These two, we set off from our accommodation in the Central Serengeti. Wildlife is abundant: sometimes you may think it has come to find you, rather than the other way around. These two days’ highlight is unknown, as the animals don’t publish their schedule (!) What we see also depends on the season, but this area is where bushland meets grassland, a favorite spot for big cats looking for prey. Cheetah, leopard and lions are all possibilities today. In the midst of the day(s) you stop by at picnic sites to take your lunch.
Dinner & overnight: 2 nights in Serengeti (Designated Lodge/Tented or Camping Accommodation)
Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After enjoying an early breakfast, have a morning game drive, in the afternoon after lunch we depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation area with game drive en route.
Dinner & overnight: in Ngorongoro (Designated Lodge/Tented or Camping Accommodation)
Day 9: Full day Game drive: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you descend into the crater; enjoy a game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
Dinner & overnight: at Karatu/Mto wa mbu (Designated Lodge/Tented or Camping Accommodation)
Day 10: Cultural Tours in Mtowambu: Village walking and Maasai tours
A day starts with breakfast, followed by a drive to explore the Maasai Cultural site(s) and the tour ends at Arusha for Overnight.
