SafariBando was founded in 2018 in Moshi, Tanzania — at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. What began as a small team of local guides has grown into one of Tanzania’s leading direct-to-traveler safari operators, with 188+ tour packages and partnerships with 525+ lodges across East and Southern Africa.
Every itinerary is designed by our in-country team, and every safari is operated by our staff. We are registered with TATO, licensed by TALA, and approved by the Tanzania Tourism Board.

Tanzania safaris cost $180–$1,200+ per person per day depending on accommodation level. Budget camping starts at $180/day, mid-range lodge safaris $350–$650/day, and luxury from $850/day. Park fees, vehicle, guide, and meals are usually included. Flights and tips are extra.
June–October is best for wildlife viewing (dry season). January–March is calving season in Southern Serengeti. River crossings peak June–August and October–November. Green season (Dec–March) offers fewer crowds and lower prices.
Most safaris run 4–7 days (Northern Circuit). Add 2–5 days for Zanzibar or 5–9 days for Kilimanjaro. Popular trips: 7-day safari, 10-day safari + Zanzibar, 14-day full combo.
